Custom Astrology
Custom Astrology
A bracelet written in your stars.
Most bracelets are designed first and chosen second. A commission runs the other way round: we start with the chart, work out which stones belong in the piece, and then design it around you. Two people can order the same three stones and end up with two different bracelets, because the arrangement follows the reading rather than the catalogue.
This page explains what the service includes, what it costs, and what we can and cannot tell you. If you would rather start immediately, the reading itself is free and takes about a minute.
What a custom piece actually is
A custom commission is built from your full chart rather than a single sign. That means the Sun, the Moon and the rising sign are read together — plus whatever else in your chart is worth working with — and the stones are chosen to hold that combination rather than one note of it.
In practice it changes three things:
- The stones. A catalog piece is built from a fixed blend. A commission picks from what is in the studio that week, and we tell you when a stone you asked for is not available rather than substituting quietly.
- The layout. Which stone sits where, how many of each, and whether the strand reads as one family or as a deliberate contrast. This is the part that makes the bracelet yours and nobody else's.
- The process. You see a proposal — stones, layout, price, timeline — before anything is cut or strung. Nothing is charged until you approve it.
Start with your chart, free
The reading is the first step of every commission, and it costs nothing. Enter the date, time and city you were born in and you get your Sun, Moon and rising signs, a chart wheel, and a short interpretation of each placement. There is no account and no email field.
If you do not know your birth time, use your best estimate: the Sun sign will not change and the Moon rarely does, but the rising sign can move by a whole sign within an hour. The reading tells you when a placement sits near a boundary so you know how much weight to give it.

How a commission runs
- Read your chart. Run the free reading, or send us the details if you already have a chart you trust. We are looking for the three main placements and any pattern that repeats.
- Send the reading to us. Use the commission form with your chart details, your wrist measurement and anything you already know you want — a stone you love, a stone you cannot wear, a colour you refuse to wear. Constraints make the brief better.
- Get a proposal. We reply with a stone selection, a layout sketch, a price and a timeline. You can ask for changes; you can also walk away at this point and nothing is owed.
- Approve, and we build. The strand is strung to your wrist measurement, checked against the approved layout, and dispatched. Lead time is confirmed in the proposal, because it depends on whether the stones are already in the studio.
Styles and materials
Everything is built on the same foundation as the catalog: natural stone, a 12–14 mm bead, hand-strung to order in the United States. What varies is the palette.
- Stone. We work mostly in quartz-family stones, fluorite, moonstone, obsidian, garnet, citrine and the traditional zodiac stones. If you want something outside that list, ask — the answer depends on what can be sourced at the time, and we will say so plainly.
- Bead. 12–14 mm is the house size. Smaller beads make a lighter strand; larger make a statement. Both are possible in a commission.
- Accents. Spacer beads, a single contrast stone, or a plain run. The zodiac line uses accent sets — Love, Abundance, Protection — and the same idea can be carried into a commission.
- Size. Small (5.5"–6.0" / 140–152 mm), Medium (6.1"–6.7" / 155–170 mm) or Large (6.8"–7.5" / 173–190 mm). If you measure between two, size up: the strand sits better with a little room.
Three ways to commission
The catalog is organised in three depths. A commission sits at the top of that ladder, but you do not have to start there.
01
Entry-Level
$35 – $59
One dominant stone and one clear intention: the twelve zodiac bracelets, plus a single-stone piece. You choose the accent bead set and your wrist size.
02
Core
$69 – $138
Several stones in one strand, built to be worn every day. The blend is the design: a fixed combination, sized to you.
03
Custom Astrology
Most $68 – $168 · quoted
Drawn from your whole chart rather than one sign. Stones, layout and size worked through with us before anything is cut. The final price is agreed before any work begins.
Custom Astrology is a commission rather than a catalog item, so it is quoted individually. The ranges above are the current price across the designs in each level — not a promise about a specific piece.
What we ask you for
- Your birth date, time and city — or a reading you have already run.
- Your wrist measurement, in inches or millimetres.
- Anything you already know: stones you want, stones you cannot wear, metal sensitivities, a deadline you are working towards.
We do not need your name to run the reading, and we do not need it to send a proposal either. If you later place an order, the usual checkout details apply.
What this is — and what it is not
The stone-and-sign pairings we use are traditional. They are old, fairly consistent across sources, and they are the reason a bracelet for Aries looks different from one for Pisces. That is symbolism, and we are happy to explain where each pairing comes from.
What we will not do is dress symbolism up as science. A bracelet does not treat a condition, replace medical care, guarantee money or change an outcome. We describe what a stone has meant to the people who wore it, and we make the piece well. Read the medical disclaimer.
Questions
How long does a commission take?
Lead time is confirmed in your proposal because it depends on whether the stones are already in the studio. Catalog pieces are made to order and arrive in 7–15 business days; a commission can take longer if stones need to be sourced. We would rather give you a real date than an optimistic one.
Can I choose the stones myself?
Yes, and we will tell you honestly when something is not available. The proposal names what we intend to use; if a stone cannot be sourced we come back to you with options rather than substituting it quietly.
Do I have to pay before I see the design?
No. The proposal — stones, layout, price and timeline — comes first and costs nothing. Nothing is cut or charged until you approve it.
What if I do not know my birth time?
Use your best estimate. The Sun sign will not change and the Moon rarely does; the rising sign is the placement that shifts. If you have no idea at all, we can still build from the Sun and Moon and say clearly in the proposal which parts of the design that leaves open.
Is the reading really free?
Yes. The birth chart reading needs no account and no email address, and using it does not put you on a mailing list. We charge for bracelets, not for the reading.
Where to go next
Run the reading first — everything downstream depends on it. If you already know your sign and want something simple, the zodiac line is faster and cheaper.
